    Hello! I’m Beth Schultz, founder of Lightened Spaces and a Twin Cities–based professional organizer and home stager. I work with clients to shape spaces that function beautifully, feel intentional, and leave a lasting impression—whether for everyday living or when selling their home. With careful planning and hands-on support, we create homes that are simply organized, inviting, and beautifully styled.

    Before launching Lightened Spaces, I spent more than two decades in project management, honing a keen eye for detail, strong communication, and the ability to listen closely. Drawing on this experience, I guide each client through thoughtful decisions about what stays, what goes, and how to create spaces that look and function their best—an approach that keeps the process lighthearted and unexpectedly freeing.

    When I’m not helping clients organize or stage their homes, you’ll likely find me in the garden, walking the trails with our Labrador, rearranging a corner of my own home (just because!), or enjoying a great cup of coffee with my favorite people. I look forward to working together—and helping your space feel a little lighter, a little easier, and perfectly styled for living or selling.

    Moving doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. We provide hands-on support at every stage—from packing to unpacking to arranging your new home into easy-to-use spaces—while keeping staging and listing plans on track so your move feels organized and manageable.

    Preparing a home for the market goes beyond tidying—it helps buyers imagine living there. For occupied and semi-occupied homes, we carefully edit, organize, and style spaces to feel warm, open, and inviting — ready to be seen as someone’s next home.

    STAGING CONSULT

    – for turning lived-in spaces into a clear selling plan

    During our on-site consultation (up to 90 minutes), we provide personalized guidance on how to arrange your home, style each space, and make intentional updates that enhance buyer appeal. After the visit, you receive a Staging Plan with prioritized recommendations—tailored to your space and designed for photos, showings, and a strong market debut.

    MARKET-READY STAGING

    – for making every room shine and every buyer notice

    First impressions matter when listing your home. At Lightened Spaces, we handle the staging. We refine layouts, style with select furnishings, and add finishing touches to create a welcoming, show-ready space. Each room is thoughtfully edited and staged to make a strong impression, draw buyers in, and attract top offers—with less stress for you.

  • Process & Rates

     

    Professional Organizing

    Every project begins with a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation to get to know each other, learn about your needs, and see if we’re a good fit. Following your consultation, your first session includes an in-home assessment and hands-on work, leaving you with meaningful progress and a clear plan from day one.


    Hourly Rates: $75 (three-hour minimum per session)

    New Client Introductory Session: $195 (three-hour session)

    Lighten Your Load 12-hour Package: $855 (5% discount)

    Make It Brighter 24-hour Package: $1620 (10% discount)


    Staging

    Staging begins with a personalized consultation to view your home through a buyer’s lens and create a plan for market-ready appeal. Hands-on styling is available to make each room welcoming and professionally staged. In most cases, we coordinate with your realtor to ensure every detail is on track and your home is well positioned to sell.


    Staging Consultation & Plan:  starting at $200

    Optional Upgrade: Room-by-room staging guide — starting at $75

    Staging Sessions:  $95/hour | 3-hour minimum


    Final pricing is based on your home and personal needs. Scope and timing are confirmed after we see your home, because every space is unique.
