    beth schultz Twin Cities professional organizerHello! I’m Beth Schultz, founder of Lightened Spaces and a Twin Cities-based professional organizer. My approach is simple: I believe organizing should be personal, not prescriptive. I collaborate with clients to shape spaces that reflect who they are and how they truly live — no judgment, just partnership, and often a few laughs along the way.

    Before launching Lightened Spaces, I spent more than two decades in project management. That experience sharpened my communication skills and taught me the power of listening—skills I bring to every organizing session. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all systems or telling people what their space should look like. Instead, we figure it out together to create solutions that truly work for you.

    My goal is to work WITH you to create a home that’s functional, personal, and easier to navigate. Whether you’re clearing clutter, prepping for a move, or just craving more breathing room, I bring a lighthearted energy that helps the process feel doable—and maybe even a little fun.

    When I’m not organizing, you’ll likely find me in the garden, walking the trails with our Labrador, rearranging a corner of my home (just because!), or enjoying a great cup of coffee with my favorite people. I look forward to working together — and helping your space feel a little lighter, a little easier, and more uniquely yours.

    At Lightened Spaces LLC, we offer professional organizing services designed to make your home feel calm, functional, and refreshed. Whether you’re decluttering, downsizing, or moving, we help lighten the load—making the process easier and far less overwhelming.

    HOME ORGANIZING

    Together, we will edit, categorize, organize, and create intuitive systems to simplify your space. We work with any area of the home–kitchens, pantries, dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, closets, play areas, bathrooms, home offices, garages and storage areas. Every space is approached with intention and tailored to your lifestyle.

    DOWNSIZING/DECLUTTERING

    Over the years, homes naturally fill with items that no longer serve us. When it’s time to let go, we’re here to guide the process with compassion and clarity. We’ll help you sort through the clutter, keep what matters most, and design smart storage solutions. Whether it’s furniture, décor, clothing, books, toys, or even outdoor gear, we’ll make the process feel lighter and more manageable.

    Looking to simplify your move? With over 15 personal moves under my belt, I bring practical experience to every stage—from sorting and packing to staging and settling in. If you’re selling, we offer home staging to help your space stand out, and we’ll gladly collaborate with your realtor. After the move, we’ll help you unpack, organize, and get comfortable in your new home. We also offer full move coordination and project management for a seamless transition.

  • Process & Rates

    All projects begin with a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation to get to know each other and learn about your needs. If we are a good match, we can schedule a 30-minute in-home assessment. The charge for this is $50, which can be credited towards your first session if you choose to move forward with us.

    New Client Introductory Session: $195 (three-hour session)

    Hourly Rates: $75 (three-hour minimum per session)

    Lighten Your Load 12-hour Package: $855 (5% discount)

    Make It Brighter 24-hour Package: $1620 (10% discount)
